I specialize in designing parts for plastic injection molding, with a deep understanding of design guidelines for molded parts. I’ve designed parts for standard injection molding, rotomolding, reaction injection molding (RIM), and glass casting.

CNC Machining
I’m proficient at designing parts for CNC machining, with experience in designing for several machining processes including 3-axis, 5-axis, turning, and electrical discharge machining (EDM).

Room Temperature Vulcanization
A common way to fabricate higher quality parts following initial prototyping with 3D printing, I’m experienced at conducting RTV pours, with proficiency in designing for different material properties.

Sheet Metal
I’ve designed components and assemblies for several sheet metal processes, including bent sheet metal, stamping, and welding. I’ve also designed components for other metal-based processes, such as metal extrusion.

3D Printing
I’ve used 3D printing extensively for prototyping and low-volume manufacturing, and am familiar with a majority of 3D printing processes including FFF, SLA, SLS, and DMLS.

3D Modeling
I have over six years of experience in 3D modeling and am extremely efficient in using Solidworks, with over 11,000 hours of logged usage. I have also worked with other 3D modeling software, including Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and Onshape.
